Assalamualaikum. Howdy guys?
I’m always pray for your better life. May Allah bless us.
Alhamdullillah, this is my first entry in English. Perhaps, it has so many mistakes in grammar either in using of words. Just wishing you would be able to understand my English.
Friends, I always speak to myself, everything that came out from my mouth must be followed by actions. Speaking without action is nothing. Action without speaking is speechless. Then, I must practice and practice the entire thing that I have spoken. Also, it’s not only about the thing that I giving speech, but it’s about the entire thing that I know and my level of knowledge. I have to practice and practice again, by not only gain the knowledge. As Saidina Ali KRW once said, “Knowledge without practice is like tree without producing fruit.”
So, how about yours? How do you often practice your knowledge?
Before this, I have made an announcement about the Best Nasheed Video Contest 2011. What s that?
Oh, you only need to prepare some music video by using nasheed song as good as you can. You can use any method to produce the video as long as you didn’t copy others video by downloading it from youtube or metacafe or so whatever then claiming it was your video. By doing that, I’m pretty sure you are the first candidate to be eliminated. You can use handycam, video camera, DSLR, phone camera, PC camera, and TV camera to record the video. It is not compulsory to use camera, but I encourage you to do so. Also, you can choose what-so-ever software to complete the editing process. You can use Adobe Photoshop, Pro-Editor, Windows Movie Maker and others. It’s up to you. You can see the video example made by Kolej Martikulasi Perak (KMPk) students using Egois’s song (this video was made by Terompah group)..
You have to extract your creativity and innovation skills as much to be the most favorite video because video who have high LIKES on Pemikiran Seorang Remaja Facebook page will be a winner.
For more rules and regulation, please feel free to read again my entry about the contest in Malay version. For nasheed song list, please feel free to read the entry again and again. Sorry, there is no English version, if you can’t understand the Malay version. Please use Google Translate Web. Got it?
It’s not easy but it’s worthy. Why?
Because you have the opportunity to win some cash and Solusi’s magazine for two months. So, why don’t you grab a chance right now?
Let’s continue to our topic for today.
It’s about our responsibility. What is our responsibility? Do we have such thing as responsibility? Why do we have to carry the burden of responsibility? It is compulsory to us?
All the question above will be answered by me in the help of Allah, if you please to read a lot of words below. Thanks.
What is our responsibility?
The Quran and the teaching of Muhammad SAW urge the importance of inviting mankind to Islam and the worship Allah alone and bring others out of darkness of disbelief and into the light of Islam. Allah says, “Thus you are the appointed as the model community so that you may become witness against mankind and the Messenger is witnesses against you” [AQ 2:143]
This is our responsibility. If one verse from Al Quran is not enough to prove that you and me bear the responsibility. Let read the story above.
Ali have one sister named Aliya. His sister always doing bad thing such as lies to Ali and Aliya’s parent and she doesn’t wear hijab when she going to public.
In this situation, if you were Ali, what are you gonna do?
I m pretty sure that you will give some advice to Aliya because you love your sister. Am I right?
It is through Allah’s SWT mercy that we are all Muslim and it is a Muslim obligation to convey the message of Islam according to his ability and knowledge. Muhammad SAW (pbuh) said “Convey from me, even if it is only one verse.” [Sahih Bukhari]
As you and me live in a society which increasingly shows Islam in negative light, it is our duty to separate the negatives images and bad perception people might associates with Islam, from the actual belief systems.
Due to Allah’s SWT mercy, no effort is wasted as there is no also great reward for a muslim who (through Allah’s SWT will) guides someone towards Islam.
“Whoever guides (another) to a good deed will get reward similar to the one who performs it.” [Sahih Muslim]
Dakwah is incumbent on all able Muslims and must be done in compliance with the methodology already established by the last Prophet of Islam, Muhammad SAW (pbuh)
“Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.” [AQ 16:125]
Thanks for reading.
